#5. Good number. Well, once again I want to thank everyone who has embraced the Alex Hawke series and the growing number of fans who are supporting it. The positive mail I've had regarding this book exceeds expectations and is deeply rewarding. They used to say writing was "the lonely profession". Not with email. I'll be in the middle of a chapter and pause to read a letter and realize there's nothing lonely about it. And make no mistake, I am overjoyed at making the top 5 on the NYT. Thanks to all of you who made that happen.
