When I began to read SF, my idea of it was formed by Asimov and Heinlein, my idea of what it ought to be by Sturgeon and Clifford Simak. The first has changed, the second has not. You will never get to read CITY as a lonely kid devouring the latest issue of Astounding. This is the next best thing.
